About the Role
Excel and Grace Consulting is a premier financial and business advisory firm in Nigeria dedicated to driving sustainable growth for our clients. We are currently recruiting a detail-oriented and professional Accountant to join our team and oversee financial operations within our client's diagnostic center. In this role, you will play a critical part in maintaining financial integrity, optimizing revenue cycles, and supporting strategic decision-making through accurate reporting and analysis.
Key Responsibilities- Record and maintain daily financial transactions and accounting records accurately.
- Prepare comprehensive daily, weekly, and monthly income and expenditure reports.
- Reconcile cash, bank, POS, and other diverse payment records efficiently.
- Monitor revenue streams from patients, corporate clients, and HMOs.
- Track outstanding invoices and proactively follow up on receivables.
- Process and document operational expenses, purchases, and supplier payments.
- Maintain impeccable records of invoices, receipts, vouchers, and supporting documents.
- Prepare payroll information and assist seamlessly with salary disbursement.
- Monitor the diagnostic center's budget to identify unusual expenses or variances.
- Track and record medical supplies, consumables, and inventory-related costs.
- Assist with tax compliance, statutory remittances, audits, and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure all financial transactions comply strictly with company policies.
- Maintain absolute confidentiality regarding financial and patient-related information.
- Minimum of a B.Sc or HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- Possession or active pursuit of professional accounting qualifications is a distinct advantage.
- 1 to 3 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably within healthcare or diagnostic services.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and modern accounting software.
- Strong numerical, analytical, organizational, and record-keeping skills.
