About the Role
Eaglenet Logistic Services, a leading provider of fast and efficient door-to-door cargo services, warehousing, and international freight forwarding, is looking for a dedicated and skilled Accountant to join our dynamic team in Abuja. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in maintaining our financial health, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting our global logistics operations with precise financial controls.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee daily financial operations, reporting, budgeting, and robust internal controls.
- Manage cash flow effectively to support ongoing logistics and freight forwarding projects.
- Lead, mentor, and guide the Finance and Accounts team to achieve departmental goals.
- Ensure full statutory compliance, handle taxation matters, and coordinate seamless internal and external audits.
- Provide insightful financial analysis to guide executive decision-making and business growth.
- Must be a Chartered Accountant (ICAN or ACCA certification).
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related fields.
- Minimum of 5 years of post-qualification experience in a senior or managerial finance role.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and modern accounting or ERP software.
- Demonstrated expertise in financial reporting, budgeting, and taxation.
- Prior experience in the logistics, supply chain, or transportation industry is a strong advantage.
- Must reside in Lugbe or its immediate environs.
