About the Role
Cirvee, a premier design academy accredited by the American Council of Training and Development (ACTD) with a clear roadmap to nurturing tech-savvies, is seeking a detail-oriented and dedicated Accountant to join our dynamic team in Ibadan. In this full-time, on-site role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining our financial health, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting our mission to empower the next generation of tech professionals through sound financial management.
Key Responsibilities- Manage day-to-day financial operations, including recording and reconciling transactions, maintaining accurate ledgers, and preparing financial statements.
- Monitor organizational budgets, track income and expenses, and support effective cash flow monitoring.
- Process payroll, ensure timely invoicing, and oversee accounts payable and receivable.
- Assist management with comprehensive financial reporting, audit preparations, and the enforcement of internal controls and financial policies.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with other teams to provide valuable financial insights and strategic planning support.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related academic field; professional certifications such as ACA or ACCA are a strong advantage.
- Demonstrated experience in bookkeeping, general accounting principles, and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in modern accounting software, spreadsheet applications, and basic financial analysis tools.
- Strong understanding of local Nigerian tax laws, regulatory requirements, and financial compliance standards.
- Excellent organizational skills with high accuracy in data entry and keen attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to convey financial data clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
- Ability to work full-time on-site in Ibadan and effectively manage multiple deadlines.
