About the Role
Skache Integrated Services Limited is recruiting on behalf of a reputable Microfinance Bank located in Apapa, Lagos, seeking a dedicated and visionary Chartered Accountant to head its dynamic Accounting Team. In this strategic leadership role, you will oversee all financial operations, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive fiscal accuracy within the microfinance sector.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and oversee the day-to-day operations of the accounting department, ensuring accurate financial reporting.
- Lead the preparation of financial statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements, and budget forecasts.
- Ensure full compliance with regulatory bodies, including the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) and relevant tax authorities.
- Implement robust internal control systems to mitigate financial risks and safeguard organizational assets.
- Liaise with external auditors, tax consultants, and other financial partners as required.
- Mentor, supervise, and evaluate the performance of junior accounting staff to foster professional growth.
- Must be a fully certified Chartered Accountant (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent professional body).
- Proven minimum working experience within the microfinance banking or broader financial services sector.
- Must reside in or within close proximity to Apapa, Lagos, to ensure seamless commute and reliability.
- Strong proficiency in financial management software and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
