About the Role

Adron Homes & Properties Limited is a leading real estate and property development company dedicated to helping people realize their aspirations for homeownership, comfort, security, and wealth. We are currently seeking a dynamic, detail-oriented, and experienced Accountant to manage and support our financial and accounting operations. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate financial records, timely reporting, effective financial controls, and compliance with statutory requirements within the Nigerian regulatory framework. Experience in the real estate, property management, or construction industry will be a distinct advantage.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, general ledgers, and accounting schedules.
  • Process invoices, payments, receipts, expenses, and other financial transactions efficiently.
  • Prepare monthly management accounts, financial reports, and insightful financial analyses.
  • Perform regular bank, cash, vendor, and customer reconciliations.
  • Monitor accounts receivable and payable, including property-related payments and outstanding balances.
  • Prepare and monitor budgets, cash flow forecasts, and expenditure reports.
  • Ensure timely filing and payment of applicable taxes and statutory obligations.
  • Assist with year-end financial statements, audits, and provision of required supporting documents.
  • Monitor compliance with company financial policies, procedures, and internal controls.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • Professional accounting qualification such as ICAN, ACCA, or equivalent is an added advantage.
  • Minimum of 2-4 years of proven accounting experience, preferably in real estate or property development.
  • Good understanding of Nigerian tax laws, accounting principles, and financial reporting standards.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and modern accounting software or ERP systems.
  • Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
