We are currently looking for a motivated and analytical Account Officer to join our finance team and support our continued growth by maintaining rigorous financial standards, overseeing daily accounting operations, and ensuring regulatory compliance across our expanding business footprint.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee the financial activities of the assigned location and ensure strict adherence to accounting regulations and standards.
- Manage Accounts Payable and Receivable procedures while providing expert guidance to internal teams.
- Generate concise monthly financial reports comparing actual revenue to budgets to drive informed management decisions.
- Oversee payroll preparation and administration with absolute precision and timeliness.
- Manage tax filing and all statutory financial obligations punctually to maintain corporate compliance.
- Leverage industry-standard accounting software to maintain accurate, up-to-date financial records.
- Partner cross-functionally with internal teams to streamline operations and enhance overall business profitability.
- Possess a B.Sc or B.A in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Demonstrate a strong foundational understanding of accounting principles, Nigerian tax laws, and best practices.
- 0 to 2 years of practical, relevant experience in accounting or financial roles.
- Proficiency in modern accounting software for accurate data management and reporting.
- Strong analytical mindset complemented by effective strategic planning capabilities.
