About the Role
Eatrite Food Services West Africa is a premier quick service restaurant in Nigeria dedicated to delivering unforgettable culinary experiences for everyone who walks through our doors. We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and dedicated Account Officer to join our finance team. In this role, you will manage accounts payable and receivable, maintain accurate financial records, and support timely reporting to ensure the smooth financial operation of our growing business. The ideal candidate brings strong reconciliation skills, sound knowledge of accounting controls, and a passion for excellence, preferably within the fast-paced food and beverage sector.
Key Responsibilities- Process supplier invoices, payment requests, and approved payments accurately and in a timely manner.
- Raise customer invoices, actively monitor receivables, and follow up on outstanding balances.
- Reconcile supplier, customer, bank, and ledger accounts, resolving any discrepancies promptly.
- Maintain complete supporting documents and ensure accurate entries are made in the accounting system.
- Prepare ageing reports, payment schedules, cash-flow updates, and other routine financial reports for management.
- Support month-end closing activities, audits, inventory-related reconciliations, and compliance with internal financial controls.
- Bachelor Degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Two to three years of relevant accounting experience, specifically focusing on accounts payable and receivable.
- Prior experience in the quick service restaurant or food and beverage sector is highly preferred.
- Good working knowledge of account reconciliations, bookkeeping, accounting controls, and financial reporting.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and standard accounting software packages.
- Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, unwavering integrity, and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
