About the Role
Brilliant Performance Solutions Limited is currently seeking a meticulous and results-driven Quantity Surveyor to join our dynamic team in Nigeria. In this role, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the contractual and financial side of construction projects, ensuring they are completed within budget and to the highest standards of quality. Key Responsibilities- Prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects, covering materials, labor, and equipment.
- Analyze project plans and specifications to identify potential cost risks and opportunities.
- Negotiate subcontracts with suppliers and contractors to secure cost-effective solutions.
- Prepare and submit competitive tender documents and invoices for completed works.
- Monitor project progress and costs closely, identifying and reporting any budget variances.
- Collaborate effectively with architects, engineers, and project managers.
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree (BSc) or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
- Must hold a recognized professional qualification in Quantity Surveying.
- At least 5 to 6 years of proven professional experience in quantity surveying within the construction industry.
- Proficiency in industry-standard cost estimating software and tools.
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
