About the Role
Global Oneword Healthcare Limited is an indigenous pharmaceutical company established in June 2012, specializing in the importation, marketing, and distribution of oncology drugs, OTC medications, and essential healthcare services. We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Account Officer to join our growing finance team in Lagos, Nigeria. In this role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining the financial health of our organization by ensuring accurate bookkeeping, seamless inventory and stock reconciliation, and efficient daily financial operations.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain accurate financial records and update accounting books regularly using Tally Prime.
- Record daily financial transactions, including payments, receipts, and invoices.
- Reconcile stock utilization and manage inventory-related financial data.
- Track incoming customer payments and proactively follow up on outstanding balances.
- Manage and monitor petty cash transactions while maintaining proper documentation.
- Prepare budget forecasts and assist with financial reporting using accounting software.
- Administer and reconcile all bank accounts, investigating any irregularities and taking corrective action.
- Provide necessary financial documents and explanations during internal and external audits.
- Maintain an efficient, indexed, and properly arranged physical and digital filing system.
- Assist the finance department with other general accounting and administrative tasks as required.
- Candidates must possess a minimum of a B.Sc. or HND in Accounting.
- Applicants should have 1 or more years of relevant work experience in an accounting role.
- Proficiency in accounting software, particularly Tally Prime.
- Strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail.
- Candidates residing around Surulere, Orile, Mile 2, Ijesha, or Ago in Lagos will have an added advantage.
