About the Role
Applied Engineering Technology Initiative Limited (AETI) is a premier engineering consulting and technical training firm dedicated to bridging the skills gap in Nigeria's manufacturing, oil and gas, telecommunications, and service sectors. We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and dedicated Account Executive to join our dynamic finance team. In this role, you will play a vital part in maintaining the financial health of our organization by managing daily accounting operations, ensuring strict adherence to statutory financial regulations, and supporting strategic business objectives.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting and financial records for the company
- Manage banking activities including account opening and comprehensive bank reconciliations
- Coordinate and monitor income and receipts while preparing and issuing client invoices promptly
- Process vendor payments and handle asset record keeping efficiently
- Administer tax matters and maintain active liaison with state and federal tax authorities
- Manage Pension Fund Administration and ensure full regulatory compliance
- Prepare and submit accurate weekly and monthly financial reports
- Execute cost accounting functions to support management decision-making
- Minimum of HND or BSc in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, procedures, and financial regulations in Nigeria
- Proficiency in financial software, MS Excel, and general ledger operations
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- High level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail
