About the Role
Petro-Tracking Services Limited, an ISO 9001:2008 certified industry leader in non-destructive testing, inspection, and oil and gas support services, is seeking a vigilant and professional Access Control Officer for our rig site operations in Nigeria. In this critical role, you will be responsible for safeguarding personnel, assets, and facilities by monitoring movement and enforcing strict security protocols in a high-demand environment.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, contractors, and vehicles at the rig site.
- Conduct thorough security screenings, bag checks, and vehicle inspections to prevent unauthorized access and prohibited items.
- Maintain comprehensive logs of all visitors, deliveries, and incident reports in accordance with company safety standards.
- Operate security systems, surveillance cameras, and communication equipment efficiently.
- Enforce HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) policies and emergency response procedures across the facility.
- Coordinate with on-site management and emergency personnel during security breaches or safety drills.
- Minimum of an SSCE qualification with demonstrable experience in physical security or access control.
- Prior experience working in oil and gas, industrial, or remote rig site environments is a strong advantage.
- Good verbal and written communication skills in English.
- High level of integrity, vigilance, and physical fitness to handle shift duties.
