About the Role
HBM Nigeria Plc (Formerly Lafarge), a global leader in building solutions, is seeking a dynamic and dedicated Transport Executive to join our operations in Ewekoro. In this pivotal role, you will ensure the safe, efficient, and timely transportation of cement from our plants and depots to customers nationwide, upholding our commitment to exceptional service delivery and sustainable building practices.
Key Responsibilities- Manage daily transport operations to guarantee optimal fleet availability and driver preparedness for seamless product distribution.
- Act as the single point of contact for delivery-related issues, utilizing GPS and IVMS tracking tools to monitor shipments in real-time.
- Evaluate Logistics Service Providers (LSPs) periodically against contractual agreements and agreed key performance indicators.
- Execute transportation strategies to meet cost, efficiency, and savings objectives.
- Prepare data-driven reports and dashboards tracking KPIs such as OTIF, lead times, and operational performance to guide leadership decision-making.
- Bachelor's degree or HND in a relevant field.
- Minimum of 3 years of related operational experience with demonstrated leadership skills.
