About the Role
Capsgain Solutions is a dynamic and fast-growing eCommerce company focused on building innovative digital products and brands. We are seeking a creative, results-driven, and entrepreneurial YouTube Channel Manager to take complete ownership of our video content operations in Nigeria. In this role, you will not just oversee video production, but actively research profitable niches, build high-performing digital operations, manage talented production teams, and scale our channels to profitability.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough market research to identify highly profitable YouTube niches, content gaps, and emerging digital trends.
- Collaborate with leadership to design and execute robust channel growth, audience acquisition, and monetization strategies.
- Recruit, onboard, and manage remote and in-house content creators, scriptwriters, video editors, and thumbnail designers.
- Oversee the end-to-end content production pipeline, maintaining strict adherence to quality, deadlines, and standard operating procedures.
- Analyze YouTube analytics including watch time, click-through rates, and audience retention to optimize performance and revenue.
- Manage production budgets, track expenses, and allocate resources efficiently to ensure long-term profitability.
- Bachelor's degree (B.Sc./B.A./HND) in Business Administration, Marketing, Mass Communication, Digital Media, or a related field.
- Proven experience in YouTube channel management, digital operations, project management, or content production.
- Strong analytical skills with a solid understanding of YouTube algorithms, metrics, and monetization requirements.
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage budgets, and develop practical business strategies.
- Proficiency in digital collaboration tools, Microsoft Excel, and Google Sheets.
