Key Responsibilities- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Yoruba language lessons tailored to pre-school, primary, or secondary students in alignment with the school curriculum.
- Design effective assessment tools to evaluate students' reading, writing, listening, and speaking proficiency in Yoruba.
- Foster an inclusive and interactive classroom environment that encourages active student participation and cultural appreciation.
- Integrate traditional and modern teaching methodologies, including digital tools, to make learning dynamic and accessible.
- Monitor student progress, maintain accurate academic records, and provide constructive feedback to students and parents.
- Participate in school cultural events, extracurricular activities, and collaborative departmental meetings.
- Minimum of a NCE, Bachelor's Degree in Yoruba Education, Linguistics, or a related field.
- Proven teaching experience within a reputable school environment is highly preferred.
- Deep fluency in written and spoken Yoruba, with impeccable grammatical knowledge.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills with the ability to engage diverse learners.
