About the Role
Viju Industries Nigeria Limited, a renowned and fast-growing leader in the Nigerian beverage production industry, is currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Argon Welder to join our dynamic technical team. In this critical role, you will play an essential part in maintaining, repairing, and fabricating high-quality stainless steel structures and machinery vital to our continuous manufacturing operations. Key Responsibilities- Perform precision argon welding and standard electric welding on various stainless steel components and industrial machinery.
- Fabricate, install, and repair metallic structures, piping systems, and production equipment according to engineering blueprints.
- Conduct routine inspections of welded joints and equipment to identify defects, structural weaknesses, or maintenance needs.
- Ensure all welding operations comply with industry safety standards, company protocols, and environmental guidelines.
- Collaborate with the maintenance and engineering teams to troubleshoot mechanical issues and minimize production downtime.
- Maintain welding tools, machinery, and workspace in a clean, safe, and organized operational condition.
- Execute complex industrial welding projects with a high level of accuracy, reliability, and minimal supervision.
- Minimum of three (3) to five (5) years of proven professional experience as an Argon Welder, preferably within a manufacturing or beverage production environment.
- Demonstrated technical expertise in specialized stainless steel welding and standard electric welding techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and welding specifications accurately.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering durable, high-quality results.
- Good communication and teamwork skills to work effectively alongside other factory technicians and engineers.
- Relevant professional certifications in welding and fabrication will be an added advantage.
