Hilton Hotels & Resorts, the stylish and forward-thinking global leader in hospitality, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Water Treatment Technician to join our engineering and facilities team in Nigeria. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the highest standards of water safety, quality, and regulatory compliance across our world-class property, contributing directly to an exceptional and safe guest experience.
Key Responsibilities- Perform physicochemical analysis on domestic, boiler, chilled, and irrigation water samples accurately.
- Interpret analytical results against regulatory standards and promptly apply necessary corrective measures.
- Ensure full compliance with local and international regulatory bodies regarding water quality and safety.
- Calibrate laboratory equipment regularly and prepare demineralized water for ongoing analysis.
- Execute Legionella monitoring and conduct planned preventive maintenance on relevant systems.
- Prepare laboratory reagents, indicator reagents, titrants, and standardize routine laboratory chemicals.
- Manage laboratory inventory, conduct stock-taking, and maintain a clean, orderly workspace.
- Maintain detailed records, logs, and inspection documentation for all water treatment activities.
- Bachelor's Degree (BSc) or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related science field.
- Minimum of two years of professional experience in a similar water treatment or laboratory role.
- Comprehensive knowledge of water balance chemistry and all phases of swimming pool operations.
- Proficiency in using basic hand and power tools for maintenance tasks.
- Strong multi-tasking abilities, attention to detail, and excellent record-keeping skills.
