About the Role
J3 Foods and Stores International is a leading name in food distribution and retail across Nigeria, committed to providing quality, affordable, and accessible food products. We are currently looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Warehouse Stock Keeper to join our dynamic team at our Oke Ado facility in Oyo. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring our inventory is accurately managed, securely stored, and efficiently dispatched to meet our operational goals.
Key Responsibilities- Receive, inspect, and record incoming food products and merchandise into the warehouse inventory system.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date physical and digital stock records to prevent discrepancies.
- Monitor inventory levels and report low stock or damaged goods to management promptly.
- Organize and optimize warehouse space to ensure safe, orderly, and efficient storage of all items.
- Prepare, pick, and pack orders accurately for timely dispatch and distribution.
- Enforce strict warehouse safety rules, inventory control procedures, and hygiene standards.
- Conduct routine physical stock counts and participate in periodic comprehensive warehouse audits.
- Minimum of OND, SSCE, or equivalent qualification in a related field.
- Proven work experience as a Stock Keeper, Warehouse Assistant, or similar role.
- Strong computer literacy and familiarity with inventory management software or MS Excel.
- Exceptional organizational, numerical, and record-keeping abilities.
- Ability to lift heavy items and stand for extended periods within a warehouse environment.
- Excellent attention to detail and a strong commitment to workplace safety guidelines.
- Residency in or around Oke Ado, Oyo, with the ability to commute reliably.
