About the Role
Baker Hughes, one of the world's largest oilfield services companies, is looking for a dedicated Warehouse Operator to join its team. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring the safe and reliable delivery of products to customers while maintaining full compliance with Baker Hughes standard operating procedures and warehouse housekeeping standards.
Key Responsibilities- Receive, classify, and stock incoming goods, including ERP updates and accurate tracking of stock locations and conditions
- Exchange data and information across teams to support continuous improvement in products, processes, and procedures
- Handle standardized service processes and follow updated guidelines to implement process changes within the department
- Manage logistics items upon delivery to inventory, ensuring accurate entry into the ERP system
- Maintain the warehouse in line with housekeeping, safety, and storage standards
- Support small teams and moderate-scope initiatives to improve warehouse efficiency
- Coordinate multiple ongoing projects and priorities simultaneously
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university, or a high school diploma/GED with at least 4 years of experience in inventory, supply chain, or workshop operations
- Minimum of 3 additional years of experience in warehouse and inventory management
- Strong ability to influence others, lead small teams, and manage initiatives of moderate scope and impact
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and memos, with solid written communication skills
- Basic PC skills and working knowledge of applied mathematics
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-movement, and noisy environment
- Experience working with databases, records management systems, and business applications
- Strong time-management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities under tight deadlines
- Self-motivated, proactive, innovative, and able to drive tasks to completion with minimal supervision
