About the Role
Workforce Group is looking for a dynamic and experienced Warehouse & Office Manager to join our client's growing operations in Nigeria. In this dual role, you will be responsible for overseeing warehouse operations, chemical storage, inventory control, logistics coordination, and administrative functions while ensuring strict compliance with safety standards.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee day-to-day warehouse operations, including the safe handling, dosing, and blending of chemicals in line with HSE standards.
- Maintain accurate inventory records, conduct regular stock counts, and coordinate timely material replenishment.
- Manage inbound and outbound logistics, negotiating competitive pricing and service agreements with transporters.
- Supervise loading and offloading activities to minimize product loss and ensure timely deliveries.
- Maintain operational documentation such as Goods Received Notes, delivery notes, and batch records.
- Oversee general office administration, facility maintenance, and utility management.
- Supervise, mentor, and evaluate warehouse personnel to drive high performance and operational excellence.
- Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Industrial Chemistry, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in warehouse operations within the chemical, manufacturing, or industrial sector.
- Strong practical knowledge of industrial chemical handling, hazardous material storage, and HSE regulations.
- Demonstrated experience in vendor negotiation and logistics coordination.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and modern inventory or warehouse management systems.
- Exceptional leadership, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
- Relevant professional certifications in Supply Chain, Logistics, or HSE are an added advantage.
