About the Role
Davina Hotel & Resort is seeking a polite, presentable, and customer-focused Waitress or Waiter to join our dynamic hospitality team. In this role, you will be the welcoming face of our dining establishment, ensuring every guest enjoys a world-class culinary experience characterized by elegance, comfort, and exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities- Welcome guests warmly, escort them to tables, and present menus with accurate information regarding food, beverages, and daily specials.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately, communicating them efficiently to the kitchen and bar teams.
- Serve meals and drinks promptly while adhering strictly to the hotel's high service and hygiene standards.
- Keep the dining room, service stations, and assigned areas clean, tidy, and properly reset throughout your shift.
- Handle guest feedback and complaints professionally, escalating unresolved issues to the supervisor immediately.
- Collaborate effectively with kitchen staff, bartenders, and other hotel personnel to ensure seamless restaurant operations.
- Minimum of an SSCE qualification with at least 1 year of proven experience in hospitality or food service.
- Strong verbal communication, interpersonal skills, and basic numeracy for handling bills and orders.
- Immaculate personal hygiene, neat appearance, and a professional, positive attitude.
- Ability to thrive under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure.
