About the Role
Ben Silver Hotel and Suite, a conveniently located and affordable hospitality establishment in Agege, Lagos, is looking for a dedicated and customer-focused Waitress to join its growing team. This role is ideal for an individual who is passionate about hospitality and committed to providing guests with memorable dining experiences.
As a Waitress, you will play a key role in ensuring guests enjoy prompt, courteous, and professional service throughout their dining experience. You will work closely with the kitchen and hotel staff to maintain high standards of cleanliness, efficiency, and guest satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities- Welcome and attend to guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Take accurate food and beverage orders and relay them promptly to the kitchen
- Serve meals and drinks in line with hotel service standards
- Maintain cleanliness and proper arrangement of dining and service areas
- Address guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests promptly and courteously
- Ensure orders are correctly billed and payments are properly processed
- Collaborate with kitchen and hotel staff to ensure smooth service delivery
- Adhere to health, safety, and hygiene standards at all times
- Assist in setting up and clearing dining areas before and after service
- Minimum of SSCE/OND or equivalent qualification
- Previous experience as a Waitress or in a similar hospitality role is an advantage
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Friendly, courteous, and customer-oriented attitude
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and multitask
