Key Responsibilities- Greet and welcome guests warmly upon arrival, presenting menus and making recommendations when appropriate.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and communicate them clearly to the kitchen and bar staff.
- Serve orders promptly while ensuring high standards of presentation and hygiene.
- Handle guest inquiries, special requests, and complaints with professionalism and a positive attitude.
- Process payments efficiently using the restaurant's point-of-sale system.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas, tables, and station setups throughout the shift.
- Minimum of SSCE or relevant hospitality certification.
- Proven experience working as a waiter, server, or in a similar customer service role within the hospitality industry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor.
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service.
- Residency in or around Owerri is strongly preferred.
