About the Role
Bolton White Hotels & Apartments, a premier hospitality destination located in the heart of Abuja, is currently seeking a professional and customer-oriented Waiter to join our dynamic team. Situated conveniently near major landmarks such as the National Assembly and International Conference Centre, our hotel prides itself on delivering world-class hospitality and luxury services to both local and international guests. As a Waiter, you will play a vital role in upholding our high standards by providing warm, efficient, and attentive table service, ensuring every guest enjoys a memorable dining experience.
Key Responsibilities- Greet guests warmly upon arrival, presenting menus and providing detailed recommendations on daily specials and menu items.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders, promptly inputting them into the hotel POS system to ensure timely kitchen processing.
- Serve meals and drinks efficiently while adhering to strict hospitality and hygiene standards.
- Coordinate seamlessly with kitchen and bar staff to resolve any special dietary requests or order modifications quickly.
- Clear, clean, and reset dining tables promptly between guests to maintain an orderly and welcoming restaurant environment.
- Handle guest inquiries, feedback, and complaints with professionalism, escalating issues to management when necessary.
- Minimum of 2 to 3 years of proven experience as a Waiter or Server within a reputable hotel, restaurant, or hospitality establishment.
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills.
- Strong working knowledge of food and beverage service operations, including familiarity with POS software.
- Ability to remain calm and efficient in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment while maintaining a polished, professional appearance.
