About the Role
Spinhive Laundromat & Cafe is an innovative, hospitality-driven commercial laundry facility and premium cafe lounge headquartered in the Ajah-Lekki corridor of Lagos. Spinhive delivers a seamless Wash, Work, and Dine ecosystem, transforming the traditional laundry experience into an efficient, multi-functional corporate and lifestyle hub. We are seeking a vibrant and customer-focused Wait Staff to join our growing team on Ogombo Road, Ajah, Lagos, and deliver memorable dining experiences to our esteemed clientele.
Key Responsibilities- Greet and welcome cafe guests warmly, providing prompt and courteous service from arrival to departure.
- Present menus, explain daily specials, and offer informed recommendations on food and beverage selections.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders and transmit them efficiently to the kitchen and bar staff.
- Serve orders promptly and maintain vigilance over assigned tables to anticipate guest needs.
- Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints with professionalism and a positive attitude.
- Process payments accurately using the designated point-of-sale systems and manage billing procedures.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in the dining area, clearing and resetting tables efficiently.
- Collaborate seamlessly with kitchen, bar, and laundry staff to ensure smooth daily operations of the hybrid ecosystem.
- Possess a relevant academic qualification from a recognized institution.
- Proven work experience as a Waiter, Waitress, or in a similar hospitality role is an added advantage.
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills.
- Ability to remain calm, polite, and efficient in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Smart, presentable appearance with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
- Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
- Residency around the Ajah-Lekki corridor of Lagos or willingness to commute reliably.
