About the Role
Equitable Medicaid and Clinical Research (EMCR) is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing equal access to healthcare for economically disadvantaged populations in rural and underserved communities. We leverage technology and clinical research to bridge healthcare disparities and improve medical outcomes. We are currently seeking a passionate and skilled female Volunteer Grants and Proposal Writer residing in Abuja to join our dynamic team and help secure funding for our life-saving humanitarian and healthcare programs.
Key Responsibilities- Research, identify, and pursue relevant grant opportunities from foundations, corporations, and government agencies.
- Draft, write, and submit compelling proposals, concept notes, and fundraising materials.
- Collaborate with the program and research teams to gather accurate data and information for grant applications.
- Maintain a comprehensive grant calendar and tracking system for deadlines and reporting requirements.
- Assist in developing donor engagement materials and supporting organizational fundraising strategies.
- Must be female and currently residing in Abuja, FCT (relocation is not provided).
- Proven experience in grant writing, fundraising, or technical writing within the non-profit or research sector.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with an exceptional eye for detail.
- Ability to work independently, meet strict deadlines, and demonstrate high levels of professionalism.
- Passionate about humanitarian assistance, public health, and community development.
