About the Role
Equitable Medicaid and Clinical Research (EMCR), a non-profit dedicated to bridging healthcare disparities in rural and underserved communities through technology and clinical research, is seeking a passionate Volunteer Events Management Officer. Based in Abuja, this role offers an opportunity for motivated women to contribute their professional skills to impactful humanitarian and health initiatives.
Key Responsibilities- Plan, coordinate, and execute community outreach programs, health fairs, and fundraising events.
- Manage event logistics, venue sourcing, and vendor relationships in Abuja and surrounding rural areas.
- Collaborate with internal teams to promote events and engage community stakeholders.
- Track event metrics and prepare comprehensive reports to measure community impact.
- Must be female and currently residing in Abuja, FCT.
- Relevant professional experience or background in event management, communications, or public relations.
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated passion for humanitarian service, healthcare equity, and community development.
- Gain valuable hands-on experience in the non-profit and public health sectors.
- Network with healthcare professionals, researchers, and humanitarian leaders.
