About the Role
Stanbic IBTC Holdings PLC, a leading member of the Standard Bank Group, is expanding its Africa China Banking team and currently seeks a dynamic, bilingual Virtual Banker. In this pivotal role, you will act as the primary bridge for our Chinese and African clientele, ensuring seamless communication, exceptional relationship management, and effective resolution of complex queries. Key Responsibilities- Provide exceptional virtual banking services and support specifically tailored to Africa China Banking clients.
- Effectively resolve customer complaints and complex queries in alignment with internal dispute resolution frameworks.
- Minimize reputational risk and customer attrition through prompt, empathetic, and accurate issue management.
- Maintain deep knowledge of Stanbic IBTC products, services, credit procedures, and banking operations to guide clients professionally.
- Collaborate with internal teams to streamline service delivery and enhance the overall digital banking experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences or a related discipline; Master's degrees or professional certifications are an added advantage.
- Must be fluent in Mandarin and English to effectively support target clientele.
- 1 to 3 years of professional experience in operations, channel support, call centers, helpdesks, or telecommunications support.
- Solid conceptual and practical understanding of credit procedures, banking policies, and customer service standards.
- Strong computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
