About the Role
Misters of Nigeria, a premier male pageant platform based in Lagos, is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Videographer to join its dynamic team. Founded in 2020 by 97th Entertainment, Misters of Nigeria has quickly grown into one of the country's most respected male pageant brands, recognized as the "Best Male Pageant Brand of the Year" at the 2024 Eko Heritage Awards. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled videographer to contribute to a nationally celebrated platform that develops young men into global leaders while showcasing Nigeria's rich cultural diversity.
Key Responsibilities- Film, edit, and produce high-quality video content for events, rehearsals, promotional campaigns, and social media platforms.
- Capture live coverage of pageant events, interviews, and behind-the-scenes moments with professionalism and creativity.
- Collaborate with the creative and marketing teams to develop engaging visual storytelling that aligns with the brand's image.
- Edit raw footage into polished, publish-ready videos for use across digital and broadcast platforms.
- Ensure all video equipment is properly set up, maintained, and used efficiently during shoots.
- Manage video files, backups, and archives in an organized and accessible manner.
- Stay updated on current videography trends, tools, and techniques to continually enhance content quality.
- Work within tight deadlines while maintaining high production standards for all deliverables.
- Relevant qualification in Film, Media Production, Videography, or a related field.
- Proven experience in videography, video editing, and content production, preferably within the entertainment or events industry.
- Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools.
- Strong understanding of lighting, camera angles, and composition for both live and studio shoots.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Creative eye for storytelling and ability to translate brand vision into engaging visual content.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with other creative professionals.
