About the Role
Gtext Homes, a leading luxury real estate developer and smart home builder founded by Dr. Stephen Akintayo, is currently looking for a talented Video Editor to join our media and communications team. This is an exciting National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) placement opportunity for a passionate creative looking to build a professional portfolio in the real estate sector. You will play a crucial role in bringing our green, automated, and sustainable residential ecosystems to life through compelling visual storytelling.
Key Responsibilities- Edit raw video footage for various platforms, including social media, website, and promotional campaigns.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to conceptualize and execute engaging video content for luxury real estate properties.
- Perform color grading, audio mixing, and motion graphics to enhance overall video quality.
- Manage and organize digital media assets efficiently to ensure a smooth post-production workflow.
- Stay updated with the latest video editing trends, software, and industry standards in Nigeria and globally.
- Must be a current NYSC corps member currently serving or about to start primary assignment in Lagos or relevant Nigerian hubs.
- Degree in Mass Communication, Multimedia Arts, Cinematography, or a related creative field.
- Proficiency in industry-standard video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, and DaVinci Resolve.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating previous video editing projects, motion graphics, and storytelling abilities.
- Excellent attention to detail, time management, and ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
