About the Role
Sportivation Radio is a digital, sports-based radio station launched in January 2026 by Sportivation Media in Lagos, Nigeria. The platform was created to deliver timely, credible, and dedicated sports coverage and conversations. We are currently looking for a talented Video Editor to help us shape our visual identity, editing compelling digital and social media video content that resonates with sports fans across Nigeria.
Key Responsibilities- Edit raw video footage into polished, engaging, and professional digital content for our radio broadcasts and social media channels.
- Collaborate with producers and content creators to select the best footage and construct seamless narratives.
- Incorporate motion graphics, sound design, music, and subtitles to enhance viewer engagement and retention.
- Manage multiple video projects simultaneously while adhering to strict publishing deadlines.
- Optimize video formats and resolutions for various digital platforms, including YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, and X.
- Proven professional experience as a Video Editor, preferably within the media, broadcasting, or digital content creation industry.
- Proficiency in industry-standard video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects, and Photoshop.
- Strong understanding of pacing, visual storytelling, and current digital video trends in sports media.
