About the Role
RightCom, the leading customer experience platform in Africa, is looking to hire a dynamic Treasury Operations Specialist to support our expanding financial operations. In this role, you will play a crucial part in managing merchant settlements, fund transfers, and financial reconciliations across multiple African markets, ensuring our financial processes run smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities- Process merchant settlements and fund transfers accurately and within agreed SLAs.
- Monitor and reconcile processed settlements, investigating and resolving any discrepancies or escalations.
- Track bank account balances, cash movements, and liquidity requirements to support daily treasury functions.
- Perform regular bank statement checks and support the automation and standardization of reconciliation processes.
- Reconcile financial transactions against bank statements, identifying discrepancies and tracking receivables.
- Analyze transactional data to support pricing reviews, reporting, and operational decisions.
- Collaborate with internal teams and liaise directly with banking partners regarding settlements and reporting.
- 1 to 2 years of proven experience in a treasury, finance, or operations role.
- Familiarity with basic accounting principles and financial reporting best practices.
- Strong analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Proactive problem-solver with the ability to take ownership and demonstrate initiative.
- Proficiency in Google Workspace, Microsoft Excel, and modern digital productivity tools.
