About the Role
Amaiden Energy Nigeria Limited, a premier provider of technical staffing and support services to the Nigerian oil and gas industry, is looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Treasury Analyst. In this role, you will be pivotal in managing the company's financial liquidity, optimizing cash flow processes, and maintaining robust banking relationships in alignment with global best practices and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities- Perform daily cash balance reconciliations using XRT software, matching bank statements with SAP records and resolving discrepancies promptly.
- Prepare accurate daily cash forecasts, monitor cash calls, and manage manual payment proposals in compliance with company policies.
- Contribute to vital management reports, including Daily Bank Balances, FX Sales, NXP reports for Crude Oil & Gas Commercial, and weekly overdraft forecasts.
- Collaborate with the Accounting Department to ensure precise recording of treasury transactions and follow up on pending or returned payments.
- Implement internal control procedures to safeguard financial assets and ensure adherence to financial laws, regulations, and bank covenants.
- Support the Treasurer in cultivating positive banking relationships and participating in the negotiation and documentation of bank facilities.
- Minimum of a Bachelor Degree (BSc) or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Finance, Accounting, Banking, Economics, or a related discipline.
- At least 7 years of relevant post-graduation experience working in finance, accounting, banking, or treasury functions.
- Proficiency in using accounting software such as SAP, alongside advanced Microsoft Office skills and strong analytical capabilities.
