About the Role
Ascentech Services Limited is looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Trade and Bank Finance Executive to join our dynamic team in Nigeria. In this role, you will support the CFO by managing critical banking relationships, credit facilities, and end-to-end import and export documentation. You will play a vital part in ensuring operational efficiency, mitigating financial risks, and leveraging cutting-edge AI and ERP tools to digitize our trade processes.
Key Responsibilities- Act as the primary day-to-day contact with financial institutions for routine transactions, credit facilities, guarantees, and remittances.
- Manage end-to-end import documentation, including Form M processing, letters of credit, bills for collection, and PAAR issuance via the Nigeria Single Window.
- Process NXP forms for exports, ensuring strict compliance with CBN foreign exchange regulations and NEPC repatriation timelines.
- Coordinate closely with customs brokers, shipping agents, and inspection agencies to expedite shipment clearance and minimize demurrage costs.
- Track utilization and expiry of credit lines and bank guarantees, providing timely alerts for renewals and collateral management.
- Utilize AI tools and ERP systems like SAP to automate document preparation, shipment tracking, and financial reporting.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3 to 6 years of proven experience in trade finance, banking operations, or import/export documentation within the Nigerian market.
- Comprehensive knowledge of CBN foreign exchange regulations, Nigeria Customs procedures, UCP 600, and Incoterms.
- Strong proficiency in ERP systems (SAP preferred) and modern AI automation tools for financial processes.
