The successful candidate will play a key role in monitoring vehicle movement, ensuring route compliance, and supporting the enforcement of fleet safety standards.
As a Tracking Officer, you will work closely with drivers and the operations team to maintain real-time visibility of our fleet, using GPS tracking systems to monitor performance, flag deviations, and generate actionable reports. Key Responsibilities- Monitor all company vehicles in real-time using GPS tracking systems
- Track trip compliance, route adherence, and driver behavior
- Generate daily reports on vehicle location, fuel usage, and idle time
- Investigate and report tracking device tampering or downtime
- Coordinate with drivers and operations team to resolve route deviations
- Maintain accurate records of fleet movement and incidents
- Support enforcement of company fleet policies and safety standards
- Escalate recurring issues or non-compliance trends to management for review
- Assist in optimizing routes to improve fuel efficiency and delivery timelines
- Bachelor's Degree or HND in a relevant field
- Prior experience in fleet monitoring, logistics, or a related role is an advantage
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in using GPS tracking software and reporting tools
- Excellent attention to detail and record-keeping abilities
