About the Role
Elizabeth Maddeux Limited is seeking a detail-orented and customer-focused Ticketing and Reservation Officer to join our dynamic team in Nigeria. In this role, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the ticketing and reservation unit, ensuring seamless travel arrangements for our esteemed clients while driving sales growth.
Key Responsibilities- Make flight reservations, process bookings, and accurately issue tickets for customers.
- Quote competitive airfares and send tailored travel proposals directly to clients.
- Arrange optimal passenger routing and manage complex itineraries based on specific requests.
- Provide comprehensive travel information including departure times, schedules, and transit details.
- Handle customer inquiries regarding flight availability, pricing, dates, and promotional offers.
- Assist passengers with ticket modifications, re-routings, cancellations, and refund processing.
- Utilize computer reservation systems efficiently to check real-time seat availability and inventory.
- Educate both new and existing customers on company travel products, services, and special packages.
- Follow up promptly on inbound inquiries to convert potential leads into confirmed sales.
- Stay updated on industry trends, airline policy changes, and regulations affecting the ticketing sector.
- Minimum of an Ordinary National Diploma (OND) in a relevant field.
- 3 to 4 years of proven professional experience in ticketing and reservation.
- Mandatory proficiency in at least one Global Distribution System (GDS), with advanced knowledge of Amadeus and Galileo strongly preferred.
- Prior working experience in tour packaging will be a distinct advantage.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
