About the Role

As we expand our training school, we are seeking passionate, technically competent industry practitioners to join our team as Technical Training Instructors for Welding and Painting & Blasting roles. You will play a vital role in delivering high-quality theoretical and practical training, ensuring trainees develop the vital technical competence and safety awareness required in the oil and gas and industrial sectors.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver comprehensive theoretical and practical training tailored to various competency levels in welding or industrial painting and abrasive blasting.
- Develop structured lesson plans, training materials, practical exercises, and robust assessment frameworks.
- Demonstrate correct equipment setup, surface preparation, coating application, and welding techniques while ensuring strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards.
- Supervise hands-on workshop activities, monitor trainee progress, identify learning gaps, and provide targeted coaching and constructive feedback.
- Maintain training facilities, tools, and equipment in optimal working condition while keeping accurate records of attendance, assessments, and overall performance.
- HND, B.Sc., or B.Ed in any technical discipline with a minimum of 5 years of relevant industry experience in welding, fabrication, or industrial painting and blasting.
- Possession of recognized professional and technical certifications in welding, coating, or surface preparation.
- Proven working experience within the oil and gas, marine, construction, or heavy industrial sectors.
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex technical knowledge into engaging, practical, and easy-to-understand training modules.
- Strong communication, presentation, interpersonal, and learner-assessment skills.
