About the Role
ipNX Nigeria Limited, a leading provider of infrastructure-based telecommunications and information technology services, is seeking a dynamic Technical Product Manager for its X-iCE Division. In this role, you will take ownership of the full lifecycle of our networking and smart home product portfolio, including access points, Wi-Fi mesh systems, routers, and connected devices. You will play a crucial part in expanding our connectivity solutions, ensuring high reliability, and delivering exceptional value to our growing corporate and residential customer base across Nigeria.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate with OEMs and engineering partners on firmware releases, security updates, and product enhancements.
- Protect the customer experience and overall product reliability through rigorous quality assurance and testing.
- Create comprehensive test plans, technical specifications, release notes, incident reports, and lifecycle dashboards.
- Manage OEM and outsourced engineering partner relationships, ensuring defined SLAs and effective escalation paths are maintained.
- BSc, BEng, or BTech in Computer Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
- Practical knowledge of Wi-Fi access points, routers, mesh networking, LAN/WAN fundamentals, and network troubleshooting.
- Demonstrated experience with firmware lifecycle management, vulnerability management, and secure update practices.
- Familiarity with Linux-based embedded systems, OpenWrt, SNMP, TR-069/TR-369, and cybersecurity vulnerability management is a strong advantage.
- Possession of a CCNA or equivalent networking certification is highly desirable.
