About the Role
Intavalto Nigeria Limited is a leading diversified technology company based in Abuja, Nigeria, specializing in smart home automation, renewable energy products, and critical infrastructure solutions. We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Technical Officer to drive our expanding commercial and industrial (C&I) solar and minigrid projects. In this vital role, you will be instrumental in delivering sustainable energy solutions that power businesses and communities across Sub-Saharan Africa while maintaining our high standards of safety and technical innovation.
Key Responsibilities- Install, test, commission, and maintain high-performing commercial and industrial solar PV systems and minigrids.
- Conduct thorough site assessments and generate detailed technical reports for prospective and ongoing projects.
- Troubleshoot complex system faults swiftly and implement effective engineering solutions.
- Collaborate closely with the project management team to ensure all installations strictly adhere to quality, safety, and regulatory compliance standards.
- Provide comprehensive client training and facilitate smooth handover processes following successful commissioning.
- Maintain precise documentation for all installation, maintenance, and service activities.
- Hold an OND, HND, or BSc in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related technical field.
- Demonstrated hands-on experience in C&I solar installation and minigrid project execution.
- Thorough understanding of electrical systems, industry safety standards, and best engineering practices.
- Possession of COREN certification or working towards it will be a distinct advantage.
- Exceptional problem-solving, attention to detail, and field troubleshooting abilities.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work effectively both independently and within a dynamic team.
