About the Role
Moniepoint is digitising Africa's real economy by building a robust financial ecosystem for businesses. We are looking for an experienced Team Lead, System Administrator to join our Lagos team, combining hands-on technical delivery with tactical infrastructure leadership.
Key Responsibilities- Lead, coach, and manage a team of Systems Administrators, enforcing SOPs and ensuring high SLA compliance.
- Design, implement, and maintain robust IT infrastructure including Proxmox virtualization, Windows Server, and Linux systems.
- Manage multi-cloud network environments across GCP, OCI, and Azure, including VPCs, firewalls, and BGP routing.
- Drive automation initiatives using Python, PowerShell, Terraform, Ansible, and n8n to eliminate operational toil.
- Administer enterprise telephony platforms (xCALLY PBX) and Google Workspace environments.
- Implement stringent security protocols, endpoint management, and incident response measures.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5+ years of systems administration and infrastructure engineering experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership capacity.
- Advanced proficiency in Linux/Unix administration, Active Directory, and cloud networking (GCP, Azure, OCI).
- Strong scripting skills in Python, PowerShell, or Bash, alongside Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform.
- Exceptional troubleshooting, documentation, and communication abilities.
