About the Role
Emzor Pharmaceutical Industries Limited, a leading indigenous pharmaceutical manufacturing company in Nigeria founded in 1984, is seeking a strategic and results-driven Tax Manager. In this pivotal role, you will lead our tax function, ensuring full compliance with regulatory frameworks while optimizing our financial position across local and international markets.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement comprehensive tax planning strategies to effectively manage and optimize the company's overall tax position.
- Ensure strict compliance with Nigerian and relevant international tax laws through thorough research, accurate forecasting, and timely filing of tax returns.
- Manage transfer pricing policies, calculating income tax provisions in accordance with applicable accounting standards.
- Handle tax audits and lead dispute resolution processes, collaborating effectively with tax authorities and legal counsel.
- Identify and pursue valuable tax credits, incentives, and legislative updates to maximize organizational benefits.
- Bachelor's degree or Higher National Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- Recognized professional qualification such as ICAN, ACCA, or CITN is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 6 years of progressive tax management experience within a reputable organization.
- Comprehensive understanding of Nigerian tax laws, regulatory frameworks, and financial ERP systems.
