About the Role
Halliburton Energy Services, one of the world's largest and most respected providers of products and services to the global energy industry, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Service Specialist I - Intelligent Completion in Nigeria. In this role, you will oversee the installation of SmartWell completion systems at well sites, act as a shift lead, and work closely with engineering teams to ensure flawless execution and customer satisfaction while upholding strict health, safety, and environmental standards.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee the installation of less complex SmartWell completion systems at assigned well sites.
- Act as a shift lead, supervising up to five employees while executing deployment and testing procedures.
- Collaborate with engineering and service coordinators to review job designs and confirm proper equipment allocation.
- Perform system integration, commissioning, and specialized troubleshooting for software, electrical interfaces, and communications.
- Consult with clients to promote good customer relations and ensure complete well site satisfaction.
- Conduct and document all HSE activities, including risk analyses, safety huddles, and proper PPE utilization.
- Maintain service equipment, complete post-job paperwork, and participate in comprehensive service reviews.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, physical sciences, or equivalent relevant technical experience.
- Prior hands-on experience in oilfield operations, specifically with well completions or intelligent well technology.
- Strong leadership abilities with a proven track record of supervising small teams in high-pressure environments.
- Exceptional problem-solving, technical troubleshooting, and customer service skills.
- Commitment to maintaining rigorous health, safety, and environmental standards in the field.
- Valid driver's license and flexibility to travel to remote well site locations as required.
