About the Role
Action Against Hunger | ACF Nigeria LTD/GTE is a global humanitarian organization committed to ending world hunger, saving the lives of malnourished children, and providing communities with access to safe water and sustainable solutions. We are currently looking for a dynamic and results-driven Supply Officer to join our team in Nguru, Yobe State, to support our vital logistics and supply chain operations.
Key Responsibilities- Manage purchase requests, process procurement according to ACF procedures, and organize timely deliveries.
- Maintain accurate procurement records, update supplier lists monthly, and ensure constructive business relationships.
- Process supplier invoices, coordinate payments with the finance department, and ensure adherence to organizational policies.
- Monitor incoming and outgoing materials, perform monthly inventories, and maintain precise stock records.
- Ensure compliance with ACF logistics procedures, technical standards, and safeguarding guidelines.
- Bachelor's Degree or Higher National Diploma in Logistics, Business Administration, Purchasing & Supply, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of relevant work experience in supply chain, procurement, or logistics.
- Good knowledge of procurement and supply chain management with familiarity in the LINK procurement tool.
- Strong proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, with excellent organizational and negotiation skills.
- Professional proficiency in English and the ability to work effectively in a demanding environment.
