About the Role
Whassan Nigeria Limited (WENL), alongside Adasa Catering Services Ltd, has been a trusted leader in catering and facilities management since 1982, serving both upstream oil and gas and broader industrial sectors. We are currently looking for a dedicated Supply Chain Officer to manage our procurement operations, ensuring high standards of quality, hygiene, and efficiency across all service touchpoints.
Key Responsibilities- Source and procure high-quality foodstuffs including dry, fresh, and frozen items, as well as kitchen consumables, cleaning chemicals, and equipment.
- Identify, evaluate, and maintain a reliable roster of approved vendors to guarantee consistent supply chain performance.
- Obtain competitive quotations and negotiate the best possible prices, product quality, and favorable payment terms.
- Raise, track, and follow up on Local Purchase Orders (LPOs) to ensure timely delivery to operational sites.
- 5 to 10 years of professional industrial catering or supply chain experience in a similar sector.
- Strong understanding of menu planning and recipe interpretation.
- Relevant catering certification will be an added advantage.
- Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and meet strict deadlines.
- Thorough knowledge of industrial catering hygiene standards.
