About the Role
Genesis Group, a leading Nigerian conglomerate in hospitality, entertainment, and industrial catering, is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Supply Chain Manager. In this role, you will oversee the complete lifecycle of goods and services, ensuring seamless operations from raw material sourcing and warehousing to final delivery across our diverse business units.
Key Responsibilities- Identify and vet reliable vendors, negotiate competitive contracts, and cultivate long-term strategic supplier relationships.
- Forecast product demand accurately, optimize inventory levels, and prevent stockouts or excessive overstocking using modern software.
- Coordinate transportation routes, manage warehouse and distribution centers, and track shipments efficiently from origin to final destination.
- Identify supply chain vulnerabilities, develop robust contingency plans, and ensure strict adherence to regulatory compliance standards.
- Collaborate closely with procurement, production, sales, finance, and logistics teams to streamline business operations.
- Monitor key performance indicators, analyze logistics data, and implement continuous process improvements and cost-saving initiatives.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in supply chain management, preferably within the hospitality, retail, or industrial catering sectors.
- Demonstrated expertise in vendor negotiation, demand forecasting, and inventory control software.
- Strong analytical skills with a deep understanding of logistics, distribution networks, and risk management.
