About the Role
The Dangote Group is seeking a dedicated and analytical Supply Chain Analyst to join our operational headquarters in Lagos, Nigeria. In this role, you will provide data-driven analysis, performance monitoring, forecasting, and reporting across procurement, inventory management, warehousing, logistics, and material planning to support our expansive manufacturing and industrial footprint.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain supply chain dashboards, management reports, and KPIs using advanced analytics tools like Power BI and SAP.
- Monitor inventory levels, analyze slow-moving and obsolete stock, and recommend optimization strategies.
- Evaluate logistics and distribution performance, track freight and demurrage costs, and support transportation efficiency.
- Support demand forecasting, material planning activities, and replenishment strategies.
- Identify process improvement opportunities, participate in Lean initiatives, and conduct root cause analysis on supply chain disruptions.
- Ensure data quality, integrity, and compliance across all supply chain master data.
- Bachelor Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Economics, Operations Management, or Business Administration.
- 3 to 7+ years of progressive supply chain or heavy manufacturing experience.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP S/4HANA, SAP MM) and business intelligence tools (Power BI, Tableau).
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including Power Query and Power Pivot.
- Professional certifications such as APICS, CIPS, or Lean Six Sigma are a distinct advantage.
