About the Role
Ben Silver Hotel and Suite, a conveniently located and affordable hospitality establishment in Agege, Lagos, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Supervisor to join our growing team. Positioned near major transit hubs including Ikeja Airport, Iyana Ipaja, and Agege Railway Station, our hotel serves a diverse range of travelers and guests who expect reliable, high-quality service. As Supervisor, you will play a key role in ensuring smooth daily operations, maintaining service standards, and supporting staff to deliver a memorable guest experience.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee day-to-day hotel operations, including front desk, housekeeping, and guest services
- Supervise, train, and motivate staff to maintain high performance and professionalism
- Ensure guests receive prompt, courteous, and efficient service at all times
- Monitor room availability, bookings, and check-in/check-out processes
- Address and resolve guest complaints or concerns in a timely and professional manner
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure cleanliness, safety, and adherence to hotel standards
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless hotel operations
- Maintain accurate records of staff attendance, shift schedules, and daily reports
- Assist management in implementing policies, procedures, and cost-control measures
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations
- Minimum of OND/HND or Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or a related field
- Proven experience in a supervisory role within the hospitality industry
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Good problem-solving skills with a customer-first mindset
- Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure
- Familiarity with hotel management software is an added advantage
