As a Structural Engineer at Jamub Group, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our building and infrastructure projects meet the highest standards of safety, durability, and regulatory compliance. You will work closely with architects, project managers, and construction teams to deliver structurally sound and cost-effective engineering solutions across our diverse business interests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Handle structural design, analysis, and integrity assessment of buildings and infrastructure projects
  • Prepare detailed structural drawings, specifications, and technical reports
  • Conduct site inspections and structural assessments to ensure compliance with design specifications
  • Perform load calculations and structural analysis using relevant engineering software
  • Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineering disciplines to ensure integrated project delivery
  • Review and interpret geotechnical reports to inform foundation design decisions
  • Ensure all structural designs comply with the Nigerian building codes, COREN standards, and international best practices
  • Monitor construction activities to ensure structural elements are executed according to approved designs
  • Identify and resolve structural issues that arise during construction
  • Prepare cost estimates and material take-offs for structural components
  • Maintain accurate project documentation and technical records

Qualifications
  • B.Eng. or B.Sc. in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field
  • Valid COREN registration is mandatory
  • 3 to 5 years of relevant post-qualification experience in structural engineering
  • Proficiency in structural analysis and design software such as AutoCAD, STAAD Pro, ETABS, or similar tools
  • Strong understanding of Nigerian building codes and construction standards
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and technical report writing skills
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills for effective cross-functional collaboration
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
