About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Structural Engineer to join our dynamic team in Nigeria. In this vital role, you will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and overseeing the structural integrity of various buildings and infrastructure projects, ensuring they meet the highest standards of safety, quality, and durability.
Key Responsibilities- Design, analyze, and develop robust structural systems and components for residential, commercial, and infrastructure projects.
- Review and interpret complex project plans, technical specifications, and structural calculations.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor construction progress, resolve site queries, and ensure strict compliance with design specifications and Nigerian building codes.
- Collaborate closely with architects, fellow engineers, project managers, and contractors to ensure deliverables align with client expectations and timelines.
- Prepare and submit detailed technical reports, engineering drawings, and accurate calculations for regulatory approvals.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from a recognized institution.
- Minimum of 5 years of proven professional experience in structural engineering and construction supervision.
- COREN registration is strongly preferred.
- Proficiency in industry-standard design and analysis software such as Autodesk, STAAD Pro, and ETABS.
- Demonstrated expertise in Nigerian construction standards, excellent analytical capabilities, and strong problem-solving and communication skills.
