About the Role

We are currently looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Male Storekeeper to join our dynamic operations team in Mushin, Lagos. In this role, you will be instrumental in maintaining the seamless flow of goods, ensuring that our inventory is accurately tracked, securely stored, and readily available to support our distribution network. Key Responsibilities- Receive, inspect, and verify all incoming food and retail stock against purchase orders and delivery notes to ensure accuracy.
- Manage daily warehouse inventory, ensuring optimal stock levels and proper arrangement of goods to prevent damage or spoilage.
- Maintain precise digital and physical records of all stock movements, issuance, and returns following company standard operating procedures.
- Perform routine physical stock counts and reconcile inventories with system records to investigate and resolve discrepancies.
- Enforce warehouse safety, cleanliness, and security rules to protect inventory and maintain a hazard-free working environment.
- Coordinate with the logistics and sales teams to prepare, package, and dispatch orders promptly and efficiently.
- Minimum of a OND, SSCE, or relevant certification in logistics, supply chain, or a related field.
- Proven working experience as a storekeeper, warehouse officer, or inventory clerk, preferably within the FMCG or food distribution sector.
- Strong proficiency in basic computer operations and inventory management software or spreadsheets.
- Exceptional organizational skills, high attention to detail, and the ability to maintain accurate records.
- Must be male, physically fit, and capable of handling warehouse lifting tasks.
- Must be fully available for a mandatory 7 to 10-day training program at our Lagos head office prior to deployment in Mushin.
