About the Role
De Tastee Group, a leading quick service restaurant and hospitality outfit, is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Store Officer to join our dynamic team in Nigeria. In this role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining our high standards of quality and efficiency by overseeing warehouse operations, managing inventory, and ensuring the seamless flow of materials and supplies to support our daily production needs.
Key Responsibilities- Receive, inspect, and maintain detailed inventories of all materials, raw ingredients, and supplies located in the company warehouse.
- Monitor and maintain required stock levels to optimize production while preventing shortages or excess inventory.
- Analyze current inventory procedures and suggest actionable improvements to increase warehouse efficiency.
- Strictly adhere to company quality, health, and safety codes while implementing process updates.
- Fill internal requisitions and place orders for raw materials, tools, and necessary stock items.
- Move materials off racks, package them for dispatch, and place incoming items securely on pallets and shelves.
- Accurately record quantities of materials received and compile regular inventory balances and price lists.
- Track expiry dates diligently on all perishable items to minimize waste and ensure food safety standards.
- Identify and report any damage, loss, or surplus of materials and compile comprehensive activity reports.
- Minimum of an Ordinary National Diploma (OND) in Accounting, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Proven work experience as a Store Officer, Warehouse Assistant, or Inventory Clerk, preferably within the food, hospitality, or QSR industry.
- Proficiency in inventory management software and basic Microsoft Office tools.
- Strong organizational, mathematical, and analytical skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to track expiry dates accurately.
